Since 2015 I regularly support the Khmer Community Development (KDC), a local NGO based in Cambodia.
2024
Within the mentorship programme of the Johanniter International Assistance Cambodia I provide expertise to the KCD’s theatre projects focused on climate change and nutrition.
2015 – 2023
I worked on several KCD’s intervention projects funded by the Gesellschaft Für Internationale Zusammenarbeit Civil Peace Service programme and in 2022 by Brot für die Welt’s Civil Peace programme. I applied Forum Theatre methodology created by the Brazilian theatremaker Augusto Boal and other artistic and social intervention tools to support the KCD in its capacity building activities, contributing to conflict resolution, the empowerment of ethnic minorities in Cambodia, and the Khmer Rouge Reconciliation process. I have also trained other local organizations such as the KdK, the YRDP and the Women Peace Makers (WPM).
