Doctor of Humanities, assistant professor at the Department of Theatre Studies at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. A theaterrologist, dramaturg, theatre critic. Co-author of the book Scena Lublin (together with Jarosław Cymerman and Dominik Gace). Co-founder and editor-in-chief of the cultural magazine kulturaenter.pl. Co-organiser of international conferences New Circus and Art in Public Space, Dance and The Tanguard in Central and Eastern Europe. Initiator and editor of the Cyrk w świecie widowisk (Circus in the world of performing arts), the first academic study of circus in Poland. He has written for numerous industry publications such as Akcent, Didaskalia, Borderlands, Theatre Diary, Stage, Theatre, and edited numerous publications concerning culture, such as Po co nam centra kultury? (Why do we need culture centres?). He co-created Noc Kultury (the Night of Culture) in Lublin, the Eastern Partnership Culture Congress, the Ukrainian Biennial Zriz. He was awarded with a scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2015) and served as Chairman of the Scholarship Committee of the Mayor of Lublin (2017-19). Member of the Polish Society for Theatre Research and the Polish Choreological Forum.
